Marianna shares yoga with those that never thought yoga was for them. Her passion is helping clients build strength, flexibility, balance, and mobility in the body they have today. With a focus on people in aging bodies that aspire to age gracefully.

Marianna is a registered yoga teacher with over 1,000 hours of professional training, leading sessions for over 10 years, and practicing since 2007. Why I Teach Silver Sneakers Classes at Club Hope

There’s a moment in life when the familiar becomes transformative, and a simple step into a gym can redefine one’s sense of purpose. My story—woven through the corridors of Club Hope Fitness—begins not as an instructor, but as a participant in the Survivor 2.0 program that is offered at Club Hope. That experience planted a seed, one that grew into a calling: to teach Silver Sneakers classes and help others discover strength and joy in movement.

Silver Sneakers is more than a fitness class; it’s a movement dedicated to the health and happiness of seniors, combining gentle aerobics, strength training, balance exercises, and stretching in a format that’s accessible and enjoyable. Club Hope is more than a gym; it’s a sanctuary where healing and possibility flourish. My goal is to continue building a space where every participant feels welcome, supported, and empowered to ‘Survive and Thrive.’

As an ICT local, retired physical education instructor, I already knew the importance of a healthy lifestyle for a happier and more fulfilling life, but being a cancer survivor, I know firsthand the power of movement and community. I want others to experience the same hope and renewal that I found at Club Hope. Every class is a celebration of life, resilience, and the belief that we are stronger together. Every day is an opportunity to lift each other up—one step, one smile, one class at a time. That is why I teach Silver Sneakers, and why I remain grateful for the chance to give back to this remarkable community…Club Hope Fitness!
